Yes.  Don't use mp3 format, use .wav.  While Aurora can read most mp3's, there are a myriad of mp3 encoders and frankly, some of them suck at doing their job.  So you all know, whatever audio file format you use, Aurora will extract it into a wav file, so it's best to use .wav (an uncompressed format) to begin with.

If you need a good (free) mp3 to wav converter, Audacity does the trick nicely.

EDIT:  I should also add (since this does crop up from time to time) that WAV files need to be (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM as the 32 bit versions don't work well with Aurora. In Audacity v1.3, this can be done via the File, Export, Save as type.

I have encountered several errors in the past when opening music files.  I get an ereer as follows:

Aurora encountered an unexpected error and will now reset.

Debugging Information:
6: Overflow
Main Processing Loop
AuroraAudio3

Is there a way to fix this so that I can create my sequence?

Thanks

Bryan
