advanced W2E settings

   Can anyone explain the advanced settings for W2E concerning isolating voice, drums ect...
I have been playing around with it for awhile and when I think I have the voice isolated the other instruments join the song and it seems that I did not have the right settings. I guess I would like a defintion of each setting.
Niose Gate/expander seems to me to limit or include depending on whether you have it set for negativedb in which it would limit and 0db which would allow more or include more.

Gain seems to clarify what you have applied as you raise it from negative to positive.

Gamma correction seems to either compress or expand what you have applied.

Even guessing at that which could be wrong I still have trouble with it although I love trying to figure it out.
Is there any little extras or hints that might help me out?
