Just to be clear, this is the upgrade from the earlier S/W versions. So if you purchased the earlier versions you just use the password code to unlock after the 15 mins demo kicks in

For folks that didn't purchase the earlier version, you can use the demo version for 15 mins without restriction

Does this mean if we have already paid that we still only get to use it for 15mins?

0.6 is available as a public demo (15 minute run time restriction) here:

I think 0.6 is looking like it will be stable enough to become a public demo download... maybe even the "RC1" designation.  The bug list is starting to get down into the minor stuff.  peteandvanessa is already in the know on the importers, but for the rest of y'all, the beta testers have their hands on the much requested LOR2 importer and are testing it as I type this.

Maybe LightsOnLogan might introduce a demo with no support.

LightsOnLogan - Remember the Holloween season is nearly upon us, my take is that many folks use Halloween to debug and get set up for the Christmas season, so my input would be to release a 0.6/0.7 version availble for demo download (after we have cleaned up any bugs). I think that could significantly boost your sales especially with some of the competition still in re-design right now (nice if you get all the imports functionality included as well :-)

That would be great to have a demo. I am leery to make the jump with as much time as I have vested in the Spectrum program.

Demo downloads...

Until recently the policy has been that a demo version would not be available until the release of 1.0.  The reason involves the inability to handle large quantities of technical support cases that a demo on a beta release would bring (each support case would push the release date back some).  Yes that means less immediate sales, but it also means not letting the release date slide too much.  We reward those brave enough to put up with our bugs with the $20 pre-order discount.

We did break our own policy by distributing a demo version (0.5) at TCLW just over a week ago.  Shame on us!  Our punishment has been that the 0.5 version has been less stable than previous releases.  0.6 is right around the corner and may be stable enough/close enough to 1.0 that with enough begging I might be persuaded to make a demo copy available for public download.

Is there a basic download to play with. I am currently using Spectrum and have been for 2 years now. I am getting the hang of it. But other D-lighters have hinted about getting Aurora. Why is it so different than Spectrum? I don't want to spend the $80 dollars to find out it does what I already am doing. Please help signed intrigued.
