    Posted: 11 Sep 2008 at 9:16pm
I am having problem with sequencer, when i open it up i can click start new sequence or import file from spectrum and i get same results it just closes after it detects channels it will go to loading audio/media video files bookmarking and shuts down. ive down loaded 1.0b ive tried vista patch, i have ocx file in system 32 folder, ive installed and uninstalled many times. i am running xp home  i have 6 ac x16 controllers, i ran spectrum last year and just started to try and use auroa. someone suggested  it might have registered aurora and i deleted that copy one of the times, if this is the case what do i do, i do not see where it says anywhere to enter  product code anymore.. orginaly i was having a error come up saying it encounterd a problem and needed to close options were report, cancel or view. ive gotten thru that reading thru fourms. and it will at least open till it has another problem. i have a hp pentium 4 3.06 ghz149 gig ram and no video card just intel 829156/gv/910g express chipset family and i have updated drivers . any help would be great

thanks tim

Tim,

As far as registration goes, that is accessed via the Help tab. If the code entry is not visible, then its already registered.

Can't recall if anyone has suggested this, but you may try loading the Spectrum files under Spectrum, see if they operate there, save them again if they do, and try importing again.

If you no longer have Spectrum installed, feel free to email one of the problem sequences.

thanks light christmas for reply, it also does it if i try to start a new sequece without importing files from spectrum but shuts down quicker. the only time i can click the help tab is when it is detecting channels and when i click any tabs it stops the loading process till i click out of tab then it continues to load then shuts down. michael asked me to send him a log file but there was none in aurora file. could this be a problem.

He was referring to the Windows error logs. These can be accessed in the Control Panel under Problem Reports and Solutions.

Doesn't look like it Tim. The file you want will have some error reporting in it (such as the Aurora close error).
