Could be he's looking for a file 'aurora.log' inside the Program Files|Aurora Sequencer folder.
If that's what he wants and it's not there.. This is what was happening to me with the long audio file. no log file created.. No error being presented on screen - Aurora just disappeared. Same thing? Couldn't get a log file when it happened like this for me. I believe if you get some sort of error dialog box on the screen then it gets reported in the aurora.log file.
Never really did get my problem fixed but I did definitely identify it to be somjething happening within my pc causing it. Tried several other pc's, XP Pro, Windows 2003 Server, and now Vista and they all work fine.. My, now old, pc still works ok except for long audo files..
I used it as an excuse to upgrade

Okaayyyy. For Xp you'll need do open the System Information window. How you do this is an idunno, but typing "system information" in the help area will provide a link that will open it for you. Click on the Software Environment to expand that entry, and then click Windows Error Reporting. Then click on File/Export, and dump the results to a text file, then post it here or email to Mike.

Qedit - usually related to DirectX. Make certain you have DirectX ver 9 or better.
D3drm - Another graphics related problem I suggest you look in the C:\windows\system32 folder and make certain these files are present. If not download them from microsloth. If they are present, try unregistering/reregistering. |

Tim,
The log file everyone talks about is not a windows file but actually a file created by Aurora, you will need to run "aurora_sequencer.exe -debug" from the command line (opening with the normal windows icon will not enable logging). The log file will be created in the same path as the executable.
Once you have done this send a copy of the log file to Michael or post the contents here so that we can see what is actually happening.

in aurora folder, i found this aurora text doc it doesent say log but shows errors.
