Visualizer Drawing Page JPEG "Squished"

I lived with having the JPEG image of my house appear flattened on the visualizer "Draw" page for Halloween, but it's becoming annoying.  The JPEG of my house appears normal during playback, but it is much shorter than it should be when viewed on the "Draw" page.  This happens when importing a sequence, opening a sequence, or building a sequence from scratch.

I've tried numerous resolution JPEG's with both the v1.02 and the new v1.025 of Auorora.  (JPEG's have been 640x480, 1024x768, as well as rediculously large and small copies of any JPEG, including the default image of LightsOnLogan's house.)  I have also completely uninstalled Aurora, cleared out the registry, and then done clean installs.  No go.  No matter what playback settings are changed, the height of the image on the "Draw" page is still dramatically shorter than the JPEG that I'm using, though it appears correctly during "Visualizer" playback.

Dell Dimension 8300, P4, 2.6GHz, 1.25GB RAM
XP Home Edition, SP3, with all updates current.

Nope.  Just a standard Dell 17" LCD set to 1280x1024.  I did have the second monitor output set to TV for an S-Video output to a TV, and I disabled that.  But it didn't have any effect on the problem.

Okay...here's a new twist.

I changed my screen resolution from 1280x1024 to 1280x960, and the JPEG on the "Drawing" page appears nearly normal, but now everything on my monitor is slightly taller.  I verified this by making squares in photo/CADD programs and measuring with a ruler (i.e.: a "square" is now 7-1/8"W x 7-3/4"H). 

Is the non-geek in me missing some really obvious setting?

I'll chime in here.  When I view the house in the editor on my laptop (1920x1200), it looks fine.  When I take the file to my work desktop and view it in the editor, it is squished.  The work computer runs 1280x1024.  So 16x9 is ok, but 4x3 messes it up.  I created my file on my laptop first, then moved it to the desktop.  When I say editor, I am referring to the draw channel function.  Let me know if you need me to test anything else.  I'd be glad to help.

I'll run this through some more beta testing after we get some of the more serious stuff sorted out.
