When I boot up Aurora I get a runtime error 68 and it shuts down. Any ideas? I'm running Windows 7 64bit version.

This usually happens when a flash/thumb drive is involved. Inserting the drive in question fixes this error.

In every instance (so far) the code 68 relates to an invalid file path in which each case involved users saving their sequences to a thumb drive or external devices which was not connected at the time of the error.

At this point the only thing I can recommend is uninstalling then reinstalling Aurora - making certain to reboot the system after the install.

I'm with LC on this. I have never seen that error reported with anything except the usage of another storage location.

Just to check, you are saving the file on the same computer as Aurora is installed on right? Not to another computer on the network or to an external hard drive.   The error 68 has always been associated with a missing file location.  Aurora remembers the last place you saved your work to. When it restarts again, it looks for that location, (harddrive, thumb drive, etc) If that location is not available, the error 68 would come up.

If I remember right, you can erase the DAT file to reset it, but I'd have to double check that. Maybe Michael will stop in a confirm that.

Correct.  Just delete the config.dat file (it will regenerate itself the next time the program runs).  Note that if you have already set up your serial network (COM port settings for your RS485 adapter), you will need to adjust those settings again.
