You will get a better response to this question over at the D-Light forums as it is a ACx16 hardware/HWUtility question and not an Aurora question.

Is the USB485 installed correctly?
Did you select the correct COM port?
Does the LED blink when the utility is not running?
What RS485 chip is in the controller?
Fine. You're so smart you rig up the lights.

If you do "ALL ON" does anything happen?

If you have a set of really good magnifiers, take a look at your RS485 Transciever chip. There are two major suppliers and they are pin-compatible. One is made by Texas Instruments, the other by Intersil.

You really want the Texas Instrument version. Last year, I believe the consensus was that it was Intersil chips that were losing their IDs.

I just put $100 aside each month, and when I had $350 to build a pair of silvers, I got a pair. Then another 4 months later I got another pair.
