My computer just had some kind of issue with all my pic files. When i pull up a pic folder it shows the pics are there with file size but theres no preveiw.... So now when i try to open any sequence i get an error message because the pics are gone.  My question, is there a way to put in a new pic so i can open my sequences? AngryAngry

If Aurora can't find the picture used for the visualizer, then it loads the default image, LightsOnLogan's house, instead.  Not being able to find your house picture isn't why the program is not opening.   (Was that a triple negative?)  Anyway, I think that there is more going on than the pictures program dissociation issue, and we have to find what's causing that.  I have a feeling that when the system is running fine, Aurora will work again.

Do you have any suggestions on where to start with looking for the problem?  I don't have a clue what could be wrong.  The rest of my computer seems to be running fine.

Can you open/preview the pictures, even though there's no preview icon?
Kinda sounds like file system corruption.

Back everything up!

OH! Check Window's Event View and system logs, see if there are reports of drive errors.
Fine. You're so smart you rig up the lights.

Can Windows Preview/Edit the image at all?

If Windows can't view it, Aurora won't be able to --- sounds like the image is corrupted.  Can you replace it with another?

My concern is HOW the image became corrupt...
I'd seriously back everytyhing up, your hard drive may be starting to fail. Check your windows logs for any other signs of drive failure.
