W2E drum settings

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version

   Can someone tell me the optimal setting for the main drum beats on a song. I know that all songs are not the same but isn't there a setting in hertz or notes that would probably work on most songs as far as the main  backbeat throghout a song.

	It depends on what part of the kit is the main beat. For TSO stuff it tends to be in the bass (92Hz or lower), while other songs keep time with a snare hit (which is rather broad banded in its energy distribution).

	That's what I was afraid of. I seem to be beat challenged, I do fine with the guitar solos but sometimes getting the beat down is hard. Thanks for the reply.
