This past weekend was my big show....3000+ people, my entire family worried that I was going to ef up our entire festival....when I went to open up the sequencer to do a last minute change....it wouldnt open....at all.  I got some run time error.  (dont remember the number, I think I blacked out for while....)  I deleted the program, (kept my sequences) and reinstalled it again.  Same problem.  This was about an hour before the first showing.  Luckily, the scheduler still works.  I didnt get the last minute change done, but the show still worked.  Thank God!  I would like to know why it doesnt work.  I originally downloaded the program on my laptop, did all of the programming in my apartment, and transfered everything to my dads laptop.  I started out using d-light, and they let us download the program on 2 computers.  I am assuming aurara is the same?  if not, I will buy another registration code, but that would have been nice to know earlier.  I know I shouldnt have assumed, because it just made an ass out of me.  if this isnt the case, please let me know.  Thanks!

You may install Aurora anywhere that you require to run a single show.

If you give the error, we can help.

Fine. You're so smart you rig up the lights.

I didnt mean to sound snippy in my post, I was just really stressed out last weekend.  A lot of pressure.  I will get the error code from my dad and let you guys know.  as for the program, do you mean that I can download it on any computer, it will run the show, but I can only do work on the show from the original computer?

Well, without saying what you could do, this is what I do.
I have Aurora installed at work on my desktop in case I have extra time to sequence.
I have Aurora installed on our laptop to sequence at night.
I have Aurora installed on out show server to run the shows.
Two computers to sequence, one to run the display.

As for snippy... HA! I think we've seen a lot worse.

Your license of Aurora grants you the right to install the program on as many terminals as you wish (so you can sequence wherever it is most convenient for you), but only one show can be run at any given time per copy.  So you can't run a show at work and at home simultaneously, but you can sequence on both those terminals.
